Speakeasy’s 90’s Night is a straightforward joy: DJs running the decade’s R&B, hip-hop, alt-pop, and boy-band singalongs in tight succession from 9:30 pm into late. It is less a chin-stroke set than a communal dance release, where Montell Jordan can slide into Blink-182 and nobody blinks. The selections cut glossy and fun, and the room leans into the theme with visuals and crowd energy. It is a rare downtown Friday that stays free and easy.
